The Three Plectrums banjo band recordings represent the convergence of the West Coast's three premiere plectrum banjo performers - Larry Kennedy, Kurt Abell and Dave Frey. The recordings show what three quality banjoists can do in a "jam" setting in front of a live audience. The recordings also feature the late David Hudnut on the saw. David was well-recognized and respected as a leader in playing the saw.

These CDs bring back the excitement and energy of yesteryear's popular banjo and sing-along shows - a time when audiences could participate and be a part of the show themselves.

The Three Plectrums continue to perform throughout Northern California.
