The Jazz
Salvation Company, a six-piece ensemble style band, is specifically recognized
in Tex Wyndham's book "Texas Shout: How Dixieland Jazz Works" as a prime example
of a 1920's style white New Orleans jazz band.
Tunes in this "Greatest
Hits So Far" CD are precise and intricate - a trademark of the band. Jazz
Salvation Company is known for their unusual introductions and endings, breaks,
and obscure verses.
