The Three Plectrums - Encore The Three Plectrums reunited on the night of February 15, 2003 .. and what a night it turned out to be! It had been several years since the famous plectrum banjoists Larry Kennedy, Kurt Abell and Dave Frey were able to play together at the place where "it all began" - a local community church in Tiburon, California. But, here they were - together again. Along with Jim Brennan on tuba, David Hudnut on saw and Don Bull on piano, the banjoists performed with unbridled joy and enthusiasm that was easily seen and heard by the standing room only crowd. With the combination of lively banjo music and an extraordinary audience, everyone in attendance knew this night was something very special. As with the 1997 Three Plectrums first CD, The Banjo Is Back, this event was also professional recorded live and is made available here for your continued enjoyment.
