This is the "breakthrough" CD for the 15-piece San Francisco Starlight Orchestra. The Orchestra's first CD recorded on the nationally acclaimed Stomp Off label, "Doin' The Racoon" succeeds in bring the 1920's "hot dance" style of music to life.

World famous cornetist Bob Schulz even records his solos using Bix Beiderbecke's horn. Many arrangements are transcribed by the Orchestra's pianist Alan Hall or are played from original charts.
