Let's
let Don
describe the lessons himself.
"Every
time I've worked up an arrangement that I use in my performances I've written
the whole score out and recorded it. These arrangements are written on
the staff, melody only, with the chord name and diagram above each note
change with an indication how that note is to be played.
"Included with each arrangement is a video cassette or DVD where the tune is
first played up to tempo and then each measure or group of measures is
analyzed and played slowly so that the student can tell exactly what's
going on.
"Each arrangement should be thought of as a comprehensive lesson
because in each case interesting and valuable techniques are thoroughly
explored and explained. Many of the arrangements have advanced
techniques in them. Don't let this scare you off! Because in most instances I
also provide alternate techniques that are easier to execute.
"The
videos are available in the NTSC (American) format. The DVDs are available
in both the American style and PAL, the "Region Free" style that is primarily
for Europe, Australia and New Zealand."
